The Pathfinder
Club @ LCSDA

Pathfinder is a fun, social, and hands-on way to learn new skills and explore the world God has created for us.

Children ages 10-15 can join camping trips where experienced and qualified volunteers teach them survival skills, camp crafts and help them discover the exciting wonders of nature.

Exciting classes give children the opportunity to learn about crafts and hobbies, while also giving them a glimpse into future careers that children might want to pursue one day.

Upon completion of the year’s activities, children will receive achievement awards and badges of honor to remind them of all the activities they participated in and learned during the year.

Each class program is developed for the special needs of that age group and is self-contained, with requirements in the areas of spiritual, physical, history, nature and outdoor skills. Classes or individuals may also choose to complete extra requirements to achieve an advanced level.

Pathfinder Pledge & Law

The Pathfinder Pledge & Law is an important part of Pathfinders. Thousands of Pathfinders each year learn and choose to abide by the requirements of the Pathfinder Pledge and Law for the sole purpose of growing closer to their fellow men and women, and to their Creator.

Pathfinder Pledge:

By the grace of God, I will be pure, and kind, and true. I will keep the Pathfinder Law. I will be a servant of God and a friend to man.

The Law is for me to:

Keep the morning watch
Do my honest part
Care for my body,
Keep a level eye
Be courteous and obedient
Walk softly in the sanctuary,
Keep a song in my heart,
Go on God’s errand.

Do Not Be Left Out!
